I haven’t been to Stone Cold Creamery or Baskin-Robbins in a long time. I don’t mind packaged ice cream (from the grocery store) as long as the ingredients are good. None of that hydrogenated oil stuff!
One of my favorite is Breyers. Photo from icecreamusa.com.
I know some people who can eat ice cream in one sitting. They usually avoid having ice cream at home, otherwise they will eat it all. Lucky for me, a gallon of ice cream can last me at least a week or more.

I’m so paranoid about giving people my birthday, even to get free stuff.

Now that I think about it, you are right about this one. Especially these days where our personal info can be lost or stolen easily. We can’t just go around giving companies our birth dates.
The company should just let you walk in on your birthday (with driver’s license or some type of I.D.) and give you a free cone on the spot. That is better publicity. And people that go out for ice cream usually bring in more customers anyway.
