Destination spa vacation had been very popular in the past years. But not everyone can afford to go on such vacations these days. A staycation is probably a better idea.
In Asia, such places known for relaxing spas include Thailand and Indonesia. They provide services including massage, facial, body wraps and much more. Thaiways.com noted, “the meaning of spas changed to cover a relaxation in natural surroundings, using water as the main constituent, combining other natural therapeutic methods like massages and aromatherapy together with chemical-free ingredients.”
I like the idea of applying aromatherapy and natural surroundings. It’s easy to make spa day everyday with this Asian Spa handmade soap.
Made with all natural ingredients and essential oils. It’s has a fresh and aromatic scent of lemongrass. I also added a touch of tea tree essential oil, which is beneficial for troubled skin.
It’s a two toned soap with the bottom half being slightly green as I added real grounded kaffir lime leaves. The top portion has poppy seeds which makes for a nice mini massage.
Ingredients: Oils of coconut, palm, soybean, jojoba, grapeseed, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, grounded kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass e.o., tea tree e.o, poppy seeds. Approximately 4 oz.
On a side note, there are lots of natural spring spa in Northern California that I would like to visit. I would rather just watch hot springs (in the daytime) then soak in one, since the places kind of creep me out. The surroundings look primitive and the places is almost outside of civilization. Maybe it’s all the X-Files I used to watch that are giving me these crazy ideas.
Plus I rather use clays and other skin safe mud and add them to my soaps. One of my favorite was the Lemon Clay Essential soap made with four different types of skin clarifying clay and mud.
Either way, if anyone is interested in hot springs spa, there is Vichy Springs in Ukiah (not France).
Asian Spa handmade soap available at Cambree Botanica Etsy shop. Thanks!

I love the lemongrass scent, a coworker once gave me a body wash that has ginger and lemongrass scents and it’s very soothing. As for poppy seeds, I’ll be able to pass the drug test right?

Hi Nye,
I sniffed lemongrass soap once and it was nice. So I decided to whip up my own batch. This bar is fast becoming my new favorite.
As for the poppy seed, I don’t think the Drug Czar will come after you.
It provides a really good back massage/scrub too.
